Set up labor types

When a user logs work on a request, they can select the labor type from a drop-down list. To set up labor types in Destiny Help Desk, you need the Manage Site Settings administrative permission.

To add a labor type:

  1. Select Settings > Setup Items > Manage Labor Types.

  1. Click +Add Labor Type. The Labor Types page appears.

  1. Do the following:
    1. Enter a name.
    2. Select if you want to set this labor type as the default.
  1. Click Checkmark icon.

To edit an existing labor type:

  1. Select Settings > Setup Items > Manage Labor Types.
  2. In the row you want to edit, click Edit icon.
  3. Make the desired changes.
  4. Click Checkmark icon.

To delete an existing labor type:

In the row you want, click trash can icon.
