Manage inventory categories

Inventory categories are used to request inventory and run reports. Help Desk users with the Edit Inventory permission can manage inventory categories.

  1. Select Inventory > Manage Inventory Categories. The Inventory Categories page appears.
  2. At the bottom of the page, enter the inventory category in the blank field.

  3. Click Save.

You can also do the following on the Inventory Categories page:

  • To update a category, click Edit icon..

  • To delete a category, click Delete icon., and then on the pop-up, click OK.
