Add an On Hold status reason

There may be times when a request has parts that need to be ordered, or a technician has to stop working on it. Destiny Help Desk users with the Manage Site Settings administrative permission can customize On Hold status reasons.

  1. Select Settings > Setup Items > Mange Request Status. The Manage Request Status page appears.

  1. In the On Hold row, click Edit icon. The Request Status page appears.

  1. Next to Status Reasons, click + Add new record.

  1. Enter the desired Reason.
  2. Click Checkmark icon.
  3. Click Save.

The reason you entered appears in the drop-down when a status is changed to On Hold.
